Is my connection read-only?
Yes — read-only by default. A new brokerage connection lets Flux see your positions and history and nothing more. It cannot place or cancel a trade unless you explicitly enable trading and set your rules.
Can Flux trade for me?
Only if you turn it on. Autopilot executes solely within guardrails you define — max position size, daily loss limit and an allowed-ticker list — after you approve the strategy. It logs everything, and you can pause it anytime, which returns the account to read-only.
